This is the most comprehensive game that you will ever encounter for the rest of your life.
With that bold statment under my belt here's a juicy set of sceenies: http://usera.imagecave.com/Ubern/GW/
(these are all unedited in-game shots)
I played DiabloII for 4 years before i could finally pry myself away from it and now, the same people who made DII went ahead and made this all-encompassing masterpiece of digital media. It has everything and anything you could possibly imagine. Taking what they learned from DII and creating essentially a 3D marvel out of it, this new MMORPG rivals even that of WoW and Everquest2. I think the fact that there are never going to be any monthly fees or deposits required after purchasing the game is the major hook for me, graphics and game/character content aside. It's fast almost FPS combat with a multiplicity of skills and weapons at your disposal, you're a veritable buffet of death with no ceiling for skill levels. I'll stop rambling...my question was: Is there anyone else out there keeping an eye on this game as well? Would it also be possible to set up a temporary SG server for the beta version?
I'm about as anxious for this game as a one-legged cat hopping through a pit of crocodiles.

why did i play DII for so long? mmm, well know how people call you gay or tell you you're a hacker when you kill them in counterstrike / UT2004 / doom3 / desertcombat? (regardless of punkbuster or not they still do it in DC)
yeah, avoiding teenagers who overreact when u kill em' is one reason i play rpg's. that crowd is pretty rare to find in this genre. the other reason was bc i enjoyed the seemingly endless amount of character development & customization that was available at the time.
soo yeah, kids and character. simple as that
