best buy SUCKS!!!!!!!!

ok, yesterday i go to "best buy" to buy a brand "NEW" scanner. after a few minutes deciding what i want, i buy a scanner.

now i am on my way home, excited, thrilled, just cant wait to use my "NEW" scanner.

ok, now i am home...i install the software, hook-up my "NEW" scanner, still excited.

now i start to use my scanner, open the lid...and to my surprise there is a picture of a baby(the pic was dated to 1999) that someone had left before me. this was supposed to be a "NEW" scanner. i call best buy and ask them what they do when someone brings a product back, answer "we thoroughly check for damage, and since a product has been opened, we stock it on the shelves at a discounted price, and also note the product is used". so i tell him "BULL-$HIT", and then i tell him about the scanner......
so today i will be going back to "BEST RIP-OFF" to get a refund! just last week the SAME thing happened to my brother when he bought a video card. when he opened it, you could tell it had been used before.
sorry to bitch to you guys, just thought you should know. now i am left with comp-usa and their service

Be sure to scan everything you want to scan at the moment before you return the scanner

oh, i forgot to mention...the piece of $hit was broke too, wouldn't scan. it makes a person mad because they think they are buying something new and it is used. i have nothing against used products, but if i pay a new price, i should get a new product. also, it should have been marked that it was used, but it wasn't.

yeah, I hate that store too. Still go sometimes, because it is convenient.

my worst case: went to buy a nic and lan cable at pre-christmas rush. I purchased it at a register in the computer dept. after standing in line for a while, the guy rings me up, then tells me that I had grabbed the wrong cable, but he couldn't do returns at his register, so I had to stand in line forever at customer service... bastard couldn't have told me BEFORE he rang me up...

Give'm hell CB, those big chain bastards sometimes think that they can get away with stuff like this. I say return the scanner with a pic of you mooning the bastards

Either never buy (electronics, etc,) at K-Mart and such or check everyting veeeery carefuly, right there. Otherwise their “discount” becomes veeeery expensive
