"another" broadband site

Vent.
I dunno about you guys, but if you ever check out dslreports forums, the people seem to REALLY annoy me. Its a bunch of nerds constantly trying to act like they know more than the other. Constantly whining about speeds even though the speedtests are about as accurate as a blind sniper. I see it most in the comcast hsi forum for some reason. Vent over.

been known for a long time now

they are extremely arrogant with huge egos over there

not a friendly group of people

alot of childish stuff over there

this place is much more professional with a group that actually has experience in the field and cares about helping people

Philip is an awesome guy, one of the nicest people i've known, and cares about helping people with broadband

can't say the same about the owner of dslreports

don't even get me started on Navis

Wee is right. I got an IM several weeks back asking why I don't post in the Comcast forum much anymore. The whole speed test business is a joke.

I think the problem is mostly the users. I have never had a problem with site management, and have found them willing to deal promptly with attacks on Speedguide.

As for John Navis, I've had one run-in with him where he thought he owned a newsgrooup and wanted to tell me and RR staff that we couldn't post there. He is of no use in my opinion.

I've been a member there for along time too,I do agree with you though,

but I do read the reviews of the other broadband services and use the tools.
