:D ]
Hahaha I didnt mean to make it sound like that, I meant I GOT a memo at work :)

Cold, they are increasing speeds because of DSL mainly, lots of dsl packages are going for 6000/768 now and other rival companies (WOW, Charter, etc) are or already have had faster speeds and they are bumping them up to keep customers. The speed has always been there, we can handle even more than this 6 meg cap. Specially since we are using 256QAM now, bandwidth isnt as big of a problem as it used to be. With the new DOCSIS on the horizon, coax still has alot of speed left in it :D Im sure Canada will follow, they usually do simliar deals, if not faster.

It seems to be quite reliable compared to those speakeasy tests. Indy, whenever you get a chance if youve got friends on our network try uploading to them. When I upload to my friend my speeds jump all over the place, like 66kbps to 730kbps, constantly. Yet uploading anywhere else its a perfect 730kbps+. Dunno what the deal with that is...yet :)
