Finally setup my water cooling on my review system

Post by Brent »

I've had this Koolance Exos watercooling system for a year now, I got it when I had to review a water cooled 6800Ultra, but I never used it since then.

So I finally got the clips I needed to hook it up to Socket 939 and am using it now on my review system.

i agree

that is why that is an empty box to sit everything on, and the mobo on top is an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe

How much quieter is it? Been thinking about moving over myself if it's easier on the ears.

with the fans on low speed it is quiet

on medium it's not too bad, but if you have the radiator near you you can hear it constantly

with the fans on high its loud

you manually set the fan speed from the front panel

i haven't had any problems with the fans on low, keeps it nice and cool even during full load

the only reason you'd maybe need to turn the fans up higher is if you are water cooling more components, like your chipset and video card along with your CPU
