the board seems to be slow for me today. for example, when i write a post, it takes forever to "process" it. just thought i would let you know.

the forum is also operating pretty fast for me right now....

I can't catch it in the act. It was slow, going from posting, back to topic. I tried Pinging and tracing and both came up with normal results, so I didn't bother saying anything. I wonder if the Storms in the area have much to do with it. Just a thought.

yep, thats happening to me. browsing is fast as always, but after a post it slows down going back to the topic.

Just an FYI.....I have been having the same problem off and on....get to the home page but getting to the boards and tcp/ip tester has been extremely slow....all weekend. this am from work was fine and from home @ 3 pm (PDT) but then it just went south. all other sites seem fine pings and tracert seem okay. am on cable, but seems to run into a problem @ hop 15

it is probaly the java or java script "or what ever is being used"and it just may be slowing down i have noticed it but i dont care about it cuz i knwo that a task can take soem time

It's a problem with the software we use, i.e UBB, rather than the Server itself, the forums server is working at 10% of its capacity. We might move from UBB to vBulletin in a couple of weeks...
