Just found some information to improve PC performance by tweaking CPU's L2 Cache, but not sure it whether it works
Here :-
〔Regedit〕→〔HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE〕
→〔SYSTEM〕→〔CurrentControlSet〕→〔Control〕→〔SessionManager〕
→〔MemoryManagement〕
and change the value of SecondLevelDataCache same as the value of CPU L2 Cache......
Another question :- should we use the program "Bootvis.exe" for speeding up windows at start-up?
P.S: I'm not quite sure I should post this mail in this forum or not. If I post in the wrong place, please help to remove it to the right place. Thanks!
Improving overall PC performance?

No, the amount of memory set by the L2 cache of a cpu is built into the die of the chip (cpu) and set by manufacturer, Windows has NOTHING to do with it.Zincster wrote:Actually what that tweak does is directly tells windows the size of your l2 cache instead of it autodetecting. So i dont see why you shouldnt set it seeing as how it just saves windows from performing a task.
The tweak is useless.
