Front windows tinted Pics

Post by extreme »

Sup guys, got my front windows tinted over the weekend. I had 20percent on there but i just couldnt stand the mismatch of 20percent on the front and limo on the back, so i got limo on the front too. Its not dark enough if you ask me so i might go back and get another layer of limo done. Here are some pics

I thought there was a law about that? Which is why it comes from the factory with the tint that it has ...

Ya there is a law. Its pretty much no front window tint at all. Seems like most of the cops dont care, now watch me get stopped for saying that...

not dark enough, you can't see anything but your reflection LOL!

looks sweet like it is, but be careful, as everywhere I am reading, the tint is what attracts theives, since they think you got something to hide :(

Nice wheels man. I was asking a friend with a sweet Maxima what the tint limit is here, he wasn't sure and I know it varies from place to place, but how much ya figure could you tint and still get away with it? Does the tint level on the front window have to do with police safety?

Thanks bro! Where you from? To be honest i dont think the cops really care. I drove next to one today and he even looked and didnt do anything. If you do get pulled over just roll booth windows down when he walked up to your car.

it has alot to do with safety...for theirs and yours

if they(Cops) cant see you, they dont know what you are doing ie: if you have a gun how many ppl in the car...so they get kinda nervous and skittish...

and when you drive at night, and you go to make a turn, if you cant see the road, then how do you know whats in it? i have driven a car with too dark on the fronts and it sucked at night...unless you just went straight :D

So you went from dark to even darker? You're going to get stopped bro. State troopers HATE tint, especially that dark.

I had 35% on my GTP, and had a hard time seeing out at night.

While I wouldn't have gone for much tint overall due to night driving, the truck is pretty sweet.

Here in Oklahoma it's 35% on the front windows. They are pretty good about about enforcing it around here :(

Don't drive it in Ohio. 50% minimum, and the Highway Patrol is picky.

Ooops: In Michigan, no tinting allowed on windshield and front doors except for 4' at top of windshield.

Maintenance is the fun part!

WHen I got my Regal, I did the following:

Plugs (2 heat ranges colder)
180* Thermostat
New intake system
3.4" pulley (S/C)
New belts
PCV
Radiator Flush (Remove dexcool)
Transmission Fluid change
Changed oil (Amsoil 10w30 Synthetic, Mobil 1 filter)
Fuel Filter

Take care of em, and they'll last!
