How do u "PATH" a whole dir with it sub dirs?

you mean map?
on an all microsoft network just right click network neighborhood and click map drive. then browse to the directory you want.

No..

In the old dos style ()config.sys and autoexec.bat); in order for edit.com(lacated in c:\dos) to work from c:\ you had to put a path in "path=c:\dos" But I want to know if with 1 or 2 or 5 commands, 10 at most can you path a root dir such as windows (for an example with lotz of subdirs) and all of it sub dir's

ah, dos, I bailed from dos the second Win95 came out. heheheheeh. I know its great when windoz is out but I just don likeit and dont really remember a whole lotta boutit.
