i dont know the difference between a liberal and a democrat or a republican.... i have no idea whatsoever what thease parties represent or promote.

I prefer too keep it this way based entirely on an assumption that knowing anything about the parties would be extremely disapointing

anyone seen the gen forum?

I was going to post a link to that thread, but the SG search results for "bullsh|t" were too numerous

If you don't declare yourself by voting...you will no longer be able to post in political threads. This way, everyone knows everyone else's intentions.

are you saying that if you vote for a party that you have the same intentions as that party? I just dont trust any of them political liars why would I vote for anyone when its most likely that they will not follow thru and they will break their promises.

Other: Rebel... I think we need to change the entire political system to make it up to date... people need to take on more responsibility themselves, and need to be involved more. Less representation, more direct democracy.

I'm Military and I'm Independent. :thumb: I'd only follow Kerry out of obligation to duty and morbid curiousity. :( Luckily I retire in 4 more years. I'd love to finish out under the current administration, but at least I'll be out before Hillary has a chance to run. :nope:

Belong to no party, never have, I have aways considered myself as a conservative because I am tight as a drum. Best price on everything. But the Republicans are selighted to call me a LIBERAL, that dirty word, because of my views.

Bush is a so dumb this nation and the world can't take 4 more years of him so my vote goes to Kerry. :D

I have no idea what party I agree with. When I think of Bush running the country for 4 more years I get knots in my stomach.

Brent, we have no idea what kind of President Kerry will be. He hasn't had a chance yet BUT if he is worse than Buch, we will not have to worry about it. Most of us will be gone.

Bush had no experience in government when handed the Presidentcy except for a term as Governor of Texas that his daddy and the oil companys bought for him. He has peoven he doesn't know Jack. :D :D Could Kerry be any worse? I'm betting my life on it. :thumb: :D :D

As a much younger man, Bush ran for the US House in West Texas but he lost the race, he stayed drunk all the time. :D

Where? Absentee since you'll be half way around the world... :p

A question, where would you vote otherwise? Not being smart here, I'm just curious. Are you allowed to vote in any state elections since your living in Canada?

Yes sir I am. You have to contact voters registration from your original home state and pass along the information. Now if the voters ballad gets here on time or is even counted, that's another matter.
