I figure because the speakers are self amplified (power comes from the wall not the computer) it's harmless. I've been running it like this for 5 months with no problems at all but I can't help but wonder if one day she's going to *POOF* and end up in soundcard heaven (yes hardware goes to heaven...except my POS Saitek P750 controller which I sent straight to hardware HELL with out a second thought 2 days after I bought it *smashy smashy*).
Anyone else ever do this?
Is there a major risk I'm not seeing?
Am I just over compensating for a small penis? *had to throw that in*
I had one in the computer room and the other in the living room. I then moved and didn't bother putting one in each room cause I plan on moving again shortly. 1 set of these was loud enough but what I have done is stack them on top of each other and angled them so they point in different directions. The quality is great. I love the idea of having the same music, movies or whatever playing simutaniously in different rooms so once I move again I'll put a little distance between the two. Hell I may buy another set! MUAHAHAHAHAAAAA
