your first impressions ?
what about video,sound,play style,mobs .. ?
i started downloading and its 2.2GB

so 4 more hours to go and then i can finally play as well @!

yes i know...they should release it right now..the game is more then ready..tons of thousands on right now and no lag at all

game is smooth..awesome graphics..great interface..addictive

Blizzard did a superb job more then I ever imagined

i can play in approx 1-2 hours depends on my download

Wow. Sounds sweet. I still think Guild Wars will be better. But I've never played WoW yet, so I don't know for myself.

Question- do you have to be a fileplanet subscriber to test WoW, or is there another way to get in?

but guild wars is not gonna be mmorpg ..ur not gonna pay any fee,its little bit different .
yes u have to be subscriber to get WOW atm,i think ghosthunter got it without subscribing.

they had signups where you didnt have to be a subscriber but now it closed only for fileplanet subscribers

it is only 7 day stress test...but all I can say is this game should b e released now i never seen a game that shouldd not be in beta like this one truly amazed

i did the same thing ...2nd time when i download it and i couldnt open it i was like wtf ****ing wow
so my last chance was WINZIP cuz winrar didnt work,windows commander didnt work ..so i downloaded winzip
http://www.winzip.com/ installed it and UNPACKED ...AND IT WORKS
try it man and let me know

I started with orc hunter and i wanna tame some kick ass monster but i guess i will have to wait for that

i have been switching characters...since only got 7 days to play i want to level each class to around 6 just to get an idea what i like so when time for release i know what i will pay

so far really loving the mage and the hunter

Man I had no idea they were doing a public beta, even if it is a 7 day stress test. I've been following this game for about 3 years. Downloading now...

Edit: Just realized you had to sign-up beforehand. Download cancelled... This sucks, lol

this game reminds me of Lineage 2
well everything looks fantastic (but very dark) but the game play is lacking ...i dont know maybe its just me ...
i will give WoW 4 stars out of 10

for now i will wait for EQ2

You have to use WINZIP to unzip it. I had problems when I used winRAR.

Unzipped ok but I get an error when i click the WoW exec. SO i guess i miss out

Actually, this game is far from being ready. I'll break it down for you:

Lvls 1-25: Fantastic game. If this is all your're looking for then you will love it.
Lvls 25-50: Still a great experience, yet still needs some work. (quests, itemization and such)
Lvls 50+ : Not even close to being ready. Hardcore gamers will be extremely dissapointed. Itemzation is horrible, no raid content etc.

It seems Blizzard has cattered to the casual gamer and has yet focused thier attention torwards the hardcore players.
