Coins have any face value??(new and old coin)

Post by Christopher561 »

Image To tell you the truth I have no clue of how I got this. Well basicly I found it in my pocket one day. I guess its just a dollar.. lol

Image back side of the first coin...

Image Well well.. we meet again... Remember this coin? Im guessing its the same as the first. just worth a dollar.. I havent seen any of theses in circulation... strange..

Image Back of the 2nd coin.

Just one of my late night posts I got to get atleast a hour or two of sleep I dont know why I just cant sleep... strange.. Ehh oh well they are just a dollar maybe when I give them to my grand children(not thinking about that soon ;-) they might be worth something.. or maybe just a dollar lol.

from http://en.wikipedia.org... From 2000 through 2004, the Susan B. Anthony Dollar circulated along with the Sacagawea dollar. The Presidential $1 Coin Act of 2004 proposes taking all remaining Susan B. Anthony Dollars out of circulation. If the bill passes; Susan B. Anthony dollars will still be legal tender, but will be removed from circulation as they pass in to the Treasury's hands.

Hmm maybe just maybe one day it will be more.. maybe.. not any time soon lol I'v just answered all my questions yesh lol..

Who are those woman, why are they so significant, on the back of the coins?

I never new America had a one dollar coin before, I have heard you guys may be going back to that system.

I've heard talks that a 5 dollar coin is in the works for Canada...I hope not though cause I don't want to be carrying all those stupid coins around. Plus we just got our nifty 5 dollar hockey bill. The only thing that could make it better is to take off Laurier and put Cherry on. You wouldn't even have to change the suit...just the face. :D

Susan B. Anthony, key figure in the women's suffrage movement and Sacagawea was a native American guide for the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
