I am looking for a motherboard that will support a AMD K6-III 550 MHz CPU. There are boards from DFI and FIC that support it but I have found none for sale. I cannot get the one I have now to boot to any hard drive so either the onboard HD controllers are gone or the BIOS cannot handle it newer drives. BIOS will detect the drive but will not boot to it. I have built many computers so I am sure the motherboard controllers have gone flakey. My next step would be to get a new controller card, but another motherboard would be ideal.
I could also use a 15 GB hard drive.
