thermal pad !!

I need to Install a heatsink on The SouthBridge Chip on my Motherbaord - What I need is some kind of thermal pad to Glue it to the Chip - But I might want to take it off If I have to RMA the Board (you never Know) I have used Artic Silver Glue you can not Take the Heatsink Off If you use it

Anyone Know were I can get a thermal pad that sticks and you can Remove the HeatSink

You cant screw it on?

I think you can get thermal pads/tape that comes with most chipsinks although its crap

You can put some as3 all over the chip and a dot of super glue on teh corners .

Man I Never looked ! If it has the Holes - It a NF7 V20 Board

Ok I am Dumb !!! It's the SouthBridge Chip I want to Cool - The NorthBridge already has a Fan and Heatsink On It

Thats the same board as me
Except i got -S
There are 2 holes where the pins snap in i dont know if you could screw something in
Best way would be the 2 i listed above

Even CompUSA sells them, about 4 bucks or so for a 3 pack.

back when i had that board,i used a couple heatsinks together(to make right size).then,using thermal tape,i made a border around it about 1/4 inch.before peeling off the backing,i covered the middle in as3(at that time).worked fine,never came off till i wanted it to-

sort of a middle ground solution,i thought-
