Oh really? You post a provocative avatar and expect no one to reply to it?

To be honest if you really knew me on SG like most of the other folks for the last 3 1/2 years, you wouldn't be making comments like that.

But...

Since the comment rubbed you the wrong way I'm sorry.

LOL...I can vouch for JCOS not having a life :D

I was thinking just about the same regarding that av, lol.

Regarding your question Nicola, did the cam come with any software to install? Check JVC's web site for any additional software, drivers, ect? Is your pc recognizing the camera? For your dial, I would imagine it would be set to 'play' and then the camera software would run it on your pc.

Hey Nicola, Where in Liverpool R U, roughly I mean??.....

<<--------[whisper/]that`s where I`m from[whisper]

:thumb: ;) :rotfl:

Also, I assume you`ve done the usual virus scans and spyware removals??

Is the cam seen in device manager, if so, does it have a yellow exclamation mark next to it??

Goto the JVC website maybe, for some updated drivers

You said it was a DV camera, is it connected by Firewire?? Do you have the firewire drivers installed for you mobo/firewire card??

Oh and set the cam to camera mode (as if u were going to record something) unless the destructions specify otherwise!?!?!

Did you get any software with the mobo/firewire card/camera?? have you installed it??

Just a few things to check

Cheerz

Al

Can`t quite remember exactly, but when my missus used to use paltalk (you perv!! :rotfl: :rotfl: ) I think I had to install one before the other in order for it to work with Paltalk!

Just have a play around.... Norris Green aint too far from me, I`m in Walton
