well first you need to go buy the games to do this with, games that interest you, see if they have multiplayer for em

First you could start by getting a better system ;)

Youll also need cable or DSL to be able to play, it is unbearable with anything less than DSL

Play diablo 2

I think that is about where you computer can play. You are on a modem which severly limits your play. Also 128 ram with all the crap you have running in the background won't help I think. Upgrade time for you if you can afford it. If not best of luck.

I would have to say you need to upgrade to a new pc the 4 PC's i have running on my network would all run circles around ya... 128mb ram just dont cut it no more most games have a minimul requirement of 128mb of free ram if you only got 128 then most of it is used up on all your background services so you may have at most at any given time 64mb.... P3's are still pretty good as long as your at the 1ghz range with 256k l2 cache... win98 bah that O/s is junk win2000 would run way better...you could run some games but most new games would not even attempt to run on your PC :( ... it sucks but it is time for a upgrade youll even be able to upgrade to todays cutting edge real cheap come here soon when the new tech comes out (pci-e and DDR2)... Itll be worth it!!!

Ohh and get off dial-up you need highspeed!!!! your connection wouldnt really be able to handle online games nowdays they need to much bandwidth when you got lots of other players on a game....

Good luck WIZKID hope you can experience the online gaming world it is great!!!

Candystand.com...you don't need much computer horsepower to run those browser based games.

Todays current games need MINIMUM 512 megs...optimally a gig of RAM, and really need later P4's/AMD's. Even the first generation P4's are slow on current games. 128 meg graphics cards or higher. WinNT based operating system to take advantage of having substantial RAM, since Win98 flatlines RAM usage past about 380 megs.
