it is going to be another basic holywood video, too many special effects, not enough good actors, IMO.

I'll see it, because movies like that seem interesting to me. But I'm not gonna waste 8 bucks on it. I'll wait for DVD. After all, I have a nice Mitsubishi 65" Digital Cable Widescreen TV with 5.1 audio ;) I like watching movies at my house better than movie theatres. I only go to theatres when I can't wait until the DVD release.

No, then you'll jsut be too fat to leave and get stuck seeing it all again with no more food to avoid all the lack of acting.

Ok, I just got back from seeing this. Weird. The whole ice age thing. How many years did it take the first ice age to clear up?

Great movie if you're a patriotic American. If you're anywhere else in the world though, you may feel a bit left out.

The only 'action' that I can even remember in the movie after the opening sequence was the mall scene and the extraordinarily arbitrary wolf scene and 'running from the freezing'. The rest was a dull chunk of ice.

I have to say, ice and 'supper freezer' storms has to be one of the least exciting plot devices I've ever seen in a movie. Alien spaceships are dynamic, interesting, exciting even. Frozen water is extraordinaryly static.

Overall? Aimless, overly focused on America, action was very arbitrary, people took bizarre and pointless actions just to make a story and not really worth paying money to see. In my view anyhow.
Australian Regular Army and proud of it.
