Need new case for Pentium 2, Happy Linux Box.

Post by Shinobi »

I got a nice old Pentium 2 Board and Cpu that works..
I'm going to make a nice Linux Box (Samba Server) out of it.
however I need to buy a new "cheap" ATX case and power supply...
I was looking on newegg.com, and they seem to have a nice selection of cheap priced cases. (minus the $15 dollar shipping charge  )

Is it ok, to hook up a 400 watt PSU to this board? I know it takes a
300 watt ATX fine..
Just double checking against my fading memory. lol ;)

Thanks guys.
Shinobi :)

That won't be a problem, in fact, all its good for is a ton of hard disks or peripherals.

Wow.. that is very nice with a blow hole on top and a fan on the side..
Hmm...

Ya know, It's funny.... people keep on giving me p2 and celeron cpu's...
a couple of these cases might be useful, for some upcoming happy projects.
"If" I can find some place that sells slot 1 and socket 370 motherboards now... :rotfl:
Thanks Bala.
