PSU Recommendations
I'm sick of my machine whining at me all day and all night. It's time for some major upgrades. My Sparkle 350W PSU has served me well, but I'm looking for something with a little more juice and a lot less noise. What do you guys recommend? Quiet is the key here.

Since we are on the topic of PSU. I was thinking of getting one of the PRO series power supplies from here.

Anyone have opinions on these ones?

I've used Allied 400W with dual fans in 4 of my machines lately, never had a problem with them, they run pretty cool and are silent. Although the best PSU I have ever had is a CompUSA brand 400W dual fan, runs silent, and blows COLD air, been working like a charm for about a year and a half now, I ran and bought it real quick when my Antec Truepower popped, wasn't expecting much but WOW...

After I modded the side of my case with two "big" fans (2 blowholes) they drawed way too much power for my 300W PS, you could "hear" the power draining ! No B.S. ...
(I also have many hard drives attached to a raid controller, and some other small fans LOL)
I bought a 500 Watt Arrow Power Supply from computer geeks . com
for only $24.95 ... a pretty nice unit, I've been running it, for a few months now...

Plenty of power... hasn't "blown" yet LOL

I have an Antec "Smart Blue" 350W PS powering the following without a hitch:
-P4 2.4 o/c'd at 3.0GHz
-CoolerMaster IHC-HC7 6000 RPM HS/F
-(1) GB PC3200
-(2) WD 40GB HDD's, RAID 1
-(1) Maxtor 80GB HDD
-(1) CD burner
-(1) DVD player
-(2) Antec HDD coolers (each with 2 fans and LED display)
-(1) FDD
-(3) Antec 80mm LED fans
-(1) Radeon 9200
Voltages are stable. I love Antec.
