ZAP Expiring in 9 days...

Post by twisted »

My Zone Alarm Pro license will be expiring in 9 days. I have had it for 2 years and have no complaints, no hacks, pretty happy with it. I am aware of a few other programs available, such as Sygate, Kiero, and Tiny, but have preferred ZAP over those. Any new software firewall progies out that you are aware of that I may want to look at before renewing my ZAP license?

Outpost Pro, or if it's for a standalone Outpost Free.

Go here for the product: http://www.agnitum.com/products/outpost/

and here to check out their forum: http://www.outpostfirewall.com/forum/

Why not just use the free version of ZA?
Do you really use those extra features in the pro version anyways? Probably not, most people don't. All in-one security programs are normally a joke anyways. Companies should stick to what they know best instead of venturing out into other areas. It's a money thing though. ;)

I agree with Shinobi on Sygate. I also like Tiny personal Firewall. Both seem to do a great job
