A diabetic dream

Diet Coke!

I finally found a drink without the aspartame taste. I never was a fan of coke but the diet version kicks the hell out of any diet drink out on the shelfs.

After drinking diet coke for awhile, it's hard to drink a regular coke...tastes too sweet...

I thought the same thing but I am forced to eat or drink sugarless products.

Try it once and if you don't like it I'll reimburse you. ;)

Man tell me about it. I had a mountain dew (regular) last week. It was my favorite pop. I almost had a diabetic coma after my first swig. :rotfl:

soon we'll have low carb drinks. Pepsi, cola and dr pepper are all working on it.

it'll be a mix between diet and full strength. probably a good idea, depending on the taste of course.

I have to agree here. I used to drink COKE and now I drink DIET COKE. Went out the other night and could only get a regular COKE ... was way to sweet for me know. You get used to the taste after the first week.

What about fruit juices? Pure apple juice and pure orange juice. I love them. I've never been huge on fizzy drinks.

Hey JCOS, you ever tried Jones' soda? Its a distributor out of canada and its damn good soda.

My taste buds are wacked for about a week after I have a chemo treatment, I can't drink soda because it tastes like what I imagine dog piss to taste like. But, I was able to find the Jones sugar free soda's quite palatable during this period.

I am normally a dew drinker as I'm not a big fan of the "cola" taste, I'm more of a citrus soda drinker. But jones is like all types of odd flavors, berry lemonade, black cherry, foofoo berry, stuff like that.

If you ever see some, give it a whirl.

back when I lived in north carolina we had nice clean well water for out tap, it was awesome, very clean and fresh water to drink, i've also experienced the awesomeness of Alaskas tap water

but here in Texas water is just horrible, drinking city water is simply not an option, in fact there's something about the water that will turn your teeth yellow if you drink it a lot

But you don't get the same vitamens from water that you get from freshly squeezed Orange or Freshly made apple juice.

Water is good, but you also need some form of balance. Fruit juices provide that (no addaditives at all). I just think water becomes a little bland on it's own. Luckily, the tap water in the north west UK (where I live) is some of the cleanest water in the world :D

I take a daily multi-vitamin among other herbs and stuff, and I try to eat more healty foods with vitamins and minerals. Water is the best drink for you, unless you have a juicer or something and take fresh fruits and squeeze em and make sure to add nothing to em, no sugar or anything. But you still need water too, at least 8 glasses a day.
