I hope the Wankel does it great... 3 Years full service!
I drove the 231hp machine... 235kph with winter-tires on it *loool* they are certificated till 210kph *uuuuppps*
the 9000rpm sounds like HELL a little ferrari!
I deceided to get the "lower" version 192hp is OK! At the moment I drive a VW Golf 3 GTI with 115hp... will be a litte powerjump!
Feb or May it is comming --> how the are shiiped in Japan...

Ich würde mir nie Automatik kaufen!
I never buy this car with automatik --> perhaps the new Mercedes SLK AMG55 with 7 gear automatic or an AUDI RS6... A BUTCHCAR in automatik not this one!!!

Nice car!! Can I have a test drive?
one day if I do become rich, I'd like to buy a ferrari race car and have it in automatic and everyone will be screaming at me...
then I'll say, "Stop complaining you bastards. When you have money u can get what you want. This is my car!"
That'll be sweet..

Nice. I love the RX-8 body style.

Has the aftermarket picked up any on those? I know I've seen several bodykits for them, but not much in the way of power adders.

Where in Germany are you from? Some people in my car club are over there. Rammstein AFB.

Heh jus messin with ya, I never liked em until I rode in my Uncles 2002 or 2003 F-150 V8 with the off road package or wutever Ford calls it and it rode great. I just tend to like the Chevys better for some reason(
 at self)

You are actually going to order it?
I guess it's another of your clients/friends that's getting you a special deal on it, right?

You do know where to drive that baby to, don't you?
. BTW: I got my car registered (finally!!!), so I'll hopefully drop by for a weekend sometime soon!

			Thor-
Wanna race? I'll give ya 2 seconds on the 1/4 mile

As for power "adders" the Renesis engine is pretty much maxed out from the factory. Intake/exhaust/header(of sorts) is only giving 15-20hp in most cases. Now if you go forced induction with that rev-happy engine, who knows? The old FD series RX-7 was a monster when folks tinkered with the turbos. A nighmare on maintainence tho. Rotary engines respond well to F/I, but require LOTS of upkeep.
RX8 on the autobahns is kinda a waste really, ya need to find some curvy roads and see what that car lives for. Out of the box that car is a stellar handling car, a few tweaks and it'll suck yer brain out yer ears.

			Congrats on an AWESOME car!

Check out the Top Gear (UK television show for those unfamiliar) 2003 car roundup video. The RX-8 does very well and comes close to being chosen the most "fun" car of 2003.

Hey I just noticed, the accents in the headrests are shaped like the rotary "pistons" in the engine. Thats a cool touch.
