MS Outlook - Adding a Yahoo mail adress??? HELP!

Post by kalbster »

I am running Office XP and use Outlook. I have a Yahoo mail account and wondered how to add it to the Outlook.

I assume that it is an http just like my hotmail account, but I can't get it to work.

Is the Server URL supposed to be (http://mail.yahoo.com) ?

I've messed with this for a couple of weeks and can't figure it out. Any help would be apprecitated.

It cannot be done unless you sign up for the Yahoo Mail Premium service, which will then provide you with a Pop3 Yahoo access to any email app.

You can also try to work with a program called Hotmail Popper, which (I think) will work with Yahoo too.

Well it is free, so I can't go too wrong. I'll give it a try and post again with my results.

Let me know if anyone has any other suggestions.
