More gaming for SpeedGuide?

Post by YeOldeStonecat »

OK, my old clan, Zombie Battalion...well, they're into Call of Duty, and bugging me for a server.

Sooo....somethings gonna be sitting next to the SG DC server in a week or two, then some hardware juggling around...possibly an upgrade on the SG DC server soon...anyways...Call of Duty coming soon. I'll keep you all FYI'd. :D

Maybe the MP mode will be longer than the SP mode...finished the SP game in 3-4days if that. Great graphics/weapons...MP looks as if its another MOHAA & RTCW clone :)

Unfortunately the MP isn't as good as the SP

Gonna do alot of behind enemy lines? maybe mix it up with just a bit of death match?

I agree. But that's what these guys will help poney up some cash for, and come for LAN parties in our computer training room to play.

I agree with Hghost & YOS in that the MP isn't as good as the SP but to each his own. It definitely seems more similar to MOHAA or RTCW.. Ibeat it in 3 or 4 days as well, but I'm looking forward to giving the MP a second chance. :)

YOSC, you're really getting this SG gaming thing off the ground man.. Whats next? Vanilla BF server too? ;) :p I'll give another shoutout to your paypal account as soon as some holiday expenses clear. ;)

I'd like to see Chocolate Software's FSHost going. Maybe get a few of the old Flying crew together again. The great thing about FSHost is that it lets both FS2002 players and FS2004 players connect to the same game and fly around and see eachother.

I'd throw in a few $ to see this running. Takes hardly any CPU and Bandwidth. Since the game is more Peer to Peer than Server>Client It just gives a central meeting place.
Respect it.
