LOL so true.
I bought the new Britney Spears CD today (I don't want to hear any **** from anyone!).
Even at walmart that damn thing was $13.88!!!
Screw that!!! (It was one of my stocking stuffers from Janey)
You can get a movie for basically the same price.
I say copy and burn until your CDR bites the dust and then buy a newer/faster CDR!!!!!!

sounds like a plan.
How is it that a movie such as Titanic (which cost $200 million to make) sells it's dvds at around $15, yet an album by a well known and successful artist (which may cost several million to make), yet charge upwards of $20 for the cd?

If you play it backwards, I'm told you can watch her fornicating with Mr TImberlake. Even worse, if you play it forwards, you hear her music

last night from 6 to Midnight, Wal-marts real competetier in the Great Lakes area- Meijer had all CD's up to 15.98 for 9.98, I went christmas shopping for myself.
Funny growing up in Michigan, we seem to see Wal-Mart as an also ran in the supercenter realm, Meijer did it back in the 60's, it just tried to do it with Target Quality and brand name products along with the cheap store brand stuff. Until the late 80's they were Meijers Thrifty Acres, and even had a full service barber shop and salon (seperate) resturaunt and bank
Mom used to bribe us kids to be good with a promise of a visit to the Purple Cow ice cream shop on the way out

I haven't dl'ed anything for a while now, but I may start again at one of the sites where you pay a few pennies for each track .... I don't have to worry about legalities that way and I get the music I want ...

there is a hidden surcharge on 'audio cdr's' here in the states too. However, I dont think anyone buys them.
