25% lost packets?

25% lost packets?

ok, ive been having a bad connection at night and i have comcast pro which is suppose to be 3.5mb down and 360 up.. and when i tried using the sg tpc optimizer, i get 25% lost packets.. how can i fix this problem? any info would be great..thanks..

oh btw, when im playing online, i get 999 ping sometimes, so i know im loosing packets..

usually bad or high latency ping is either the cable line/modem/isp issue.

I would call the isp and see if they are doing some matence or if any outages are in the area. on there end that is doing or being done, maybe get a tech to come out and test ur line.

well, i kina fixed it last night w/ the cablenut :D but im still loosing packets when im testing my lantecy ping using tcp optimizer.. :( about 31% which is sux.. should i call them and send some to test my line out? thanks for the reply btw..

Yea I would. Weak signal will give you PL. Call them and bitch about it :D
