Sony DRU510A problems
Burner is causing problems, when accessing the drive using any programs, windows explorer, nero, whatever, it randomly decides to give a blue screen of death. Also happened once in the middle of a burn, what a waste of a DVD disc....... this was also after burning one CD and one DVD. It has also BSOD'ed right before starting to write to a disc a few times, thus saving the disc, but obviously a huge annoyance.

Ive gotten the latest firmware, no drivers or such on the site.

Any ideas how to possibly fix this?

Any errors in event viewer? Have you installed tha aspi drivers?

yes and yes....

only sometimes does something appear in event viewer..... and when it does.... it seems quite useless

did you overclock at all if you do try to burn at defaults speed ...
