NDel try the following fix, make it into a .reg file and merge it into your registry and reboot.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NdisWan\Parameters\Protocols]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NdisWan\Parameters\Protocols\0]
"ProtocolType"=dword:00000800
"PPPProtocolType"=dword:00000021
"ProtocolMTU"=dword:000005c8

Remember to make the registry line all one line, the forum won't allow me to post it properly.

For mnosteele52 - Tried your solution. MTU still stuck at 1472.

I contacted Aztech Tech Support - they told me not to worry about the MTU setting.

You guys are very helpful - thanks eventhough no solution is found. I've not given up anyway. Will try anything .......

Just changed my LAN Card to Linksys LNE100TX. Still got MTU stuck at 1472. Maybe I need to change my modem too! :(

You don't need to change modem or anything I wouldn't worry about it. Mtu has a litttle effect on the net.

I am just trying to squeeze every bit of speed increase I can get on my advertised 384/128 DSL. The maximum speed I am able to get now is only 311 down and 90 up.

My ISP is now offering 512/128 ADSL. Maybe I should upgrade.

Its costing me US$22.00 per month for 384/128. The 512/128 package will cost me US$32.00 pm.

Is it worth it?

By the way, excellent board here - quick response and not short of responders!
