I checked this game out a few months ago and it was supposed to be released this summer. I actually like that it's been pushed back to fall now. Too many publishers try and push a game out the door with out doing it properly.

I will definitely pick this one up. I have always been a huge fan of the Jane's simulators and I think this is up there as far as quality.

the videos look awesome. wish they had a demo version out. also, with all the ground detail the load times are going to be killer. like bf1942 was in the beginning.

wasnt there a rumor about Falcon 4.0 part 2 or something has anyone heard?
not to thread jack or anything, but i was under the imnpression that Falcon was the best untell like MS Flight sim 2002 or somethinglike that...i dont know, "DONT PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THAT MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!!!"

lol

I really miss the fighter flight sim genre, even the unrealistic but extremely fun Novalogic sims. Think I'll grab this up when it is released

i want a flight sim combat game that plays like the planes in BF1942/DesertCombat. know of any? flying a plane or helio in BF is so much fun, i usually just forget about the ground battle altogether. mind you, i do want ever i can for my team, i'm not one of those plane campers.

I still play Falcon 4.0 , just not alot... but I also fly CFS2 & 3... love the feel of them , but they didnt do the flight dynamics the best.. so I put up with them and fly.
if those screenshots are an example.. I will likely take a closer look at it when it comes out, as will some of my squadmates.

Have that, haven't played in a long time, haven't installed in on my past 2 rigs even. Didn't know they had WW1 planes downloadable for it, thanks for the heads up.

I remember reading about FALCON 5.0 almost a year ago. I don't know when or if its going to come out. THis one looks like it will be pretty good tho. I saw online once that JANES is working on an xbox title for xbox live. Its suposed to be packaged like Steel Battalion was with a fligh stick and like 100 buttons. If so that would be a dream come true!! :)

Was Falcon 5.0 anything more than a dream though? 4.0 barely got out the door, and I never really heard anything more about the series since (although I haven't looked either).

Falcon 4.0 was a bug nightmare when it first released. Almost unplayable at time. So id imagine when and if they release 5.0 it would probolby take forever to release and or be buggy on release. Hell i got 4.0 like a year and a half after release and it was still buggy...
