floppy discs with photos... reformat ?

Post by mountainman »

Hey guys...

A girl in our school just took some photos of classes for the website, but when I took it out of the camera, the computer wants to reformat them instead of opening them.

Any way around this ?

Thanks. :)

Are you getting the non-readable file system message? Then it wants to format the floppy...

If this is the case try another computer/floppy drive.

Bah... it was giving me the "this disc needs to be formatted. would you like to do that now ?".

Not sure. Going to try for a USB cable.

*fingers crossed*

that used to happen to me when I used disks previously formatted with 98se... I know it makes no sense, but I had to floppy boot to 98se, and move the files to the HDD... then booted back to 2000 and it worked like a champ!
