Do a search for this file; 'msagent32.exe' in WINNT\system32\ - thats the virus. Run a virus scan and clean all spyware. Then put your XP disk in and Close the screen that comes up. Then go to Start/ Run and Type sfc /scannow and let it run through. :)

I hate to ask this, but I have to....did you reboot? Does this still occur after a reboot?

Had the same issue after a dance with the WinBlaster virus.
After trying everything in the book including restore and install over I finally reformatted and did a clean install

http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/d ... .h@mm.html

That site is for the klez worm. But with the MSBlaster worm my norton wasn't working. I went into the virus history and had a wierd file name in there TFTP4325 or something like that. Deleted it, rebooted, and everything worked fine. Also, the blaster worm kept coming back until I deleted the TFTP file. I asume it was going out there using FTP, d/l the worm back onto my computer.
