being in the local mountains on a spring day just after a storm has passed through, with a light covering of snow on the ground. looking out at all the beauty that is around, looking out and just seeing the clear blue sky, the beautiful fluffy clouds, the green rolling hills below, breathing in the perfect clean clear air.........

being in the desert when the sun comes up, and all the shades of the rainbow are in the sky.........

being out in my 4x in the middle of a storm helping those who are helpless.....
hell just being out in the rain.

just life in general, all the experiences that i have. the ups and the downs.....it all makes me happy when i look back on them, 'cause i know they will never happen to me again.

sharing all this and more with that someone special

Some things that make me happy?

Financial Stability.
Rock Alternative Metal Concerts.
My friend Charlie (he's definately not imaginary). :)
Successful Overclocking.
Walking out of a Casino with more $$$$$ than I started. not to mention, a full tummy.

I'm usually always happy. Finding these triggers is getting difficult with age.
get it up, get it in, get it out, and don't mess up my hair!

WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY IS KNOWING I CAN ACCOMPLISH SO MANY THINGS IN MY CAREER AND WORK WITH MY BETTER HALF. ALSO LIVING IN A GREAT AREA WHERE THERES NO TRASH ON THE STREETS,THE DAYS ARE SUNNY AND THE COPS PASS BY AND SMILE !! BUT THAT STUFF WOULD BE NOTHING WITHOUT MY FAMILY THAT MAKES ME SMILE EVERYDAY! :D

OH... AND OUR KITTIES MAKE ME HAPPY!!!
couldn't be happier!

what makes me happy? hmm....

- getting in my car after work and turning off my nextel.

- hearing a killer tune at the right moment.

- that first ice cold beer after a long day.

- seeing how many wonderful things my wife does for me while I'm out working up a storm.

- getting new computer hardware and having it meet expectations.

- getting to hang out with my dad who works his ass off beyond belief 7 days/wk and never wastes a second bitching about it. (I drive down to visit him once a month or so)

- kicking ass in BF'42.

- getting to watch football on Sundays UNINTERRUPTED!! (which is damn near impossible in my house)

- finishing a big project, whether it be school, home, or work.

- getting bonuses and/or paychecks with tons of OT.

- going to family gatherings and not having to hear about all the computer mishaps that have gone on since last family gathering.

- hearing from an old friend.

- having no new bills arrive in the mail.

- receiving unexpected gifts/surprises.

- walking in the door after a crappy day and being cheered up by my black lab whose cute face always prompts me to smile, even on the worst of days.

- waking up on a day off, knowing that I can do whatever I want and I've got the whole day to do it..

I could go on and on, but you get the picture. :)

Obviously animalistic sex with my wife, going insanely fast on a motorcycle (140+), new games for the comp or ps2, Norco's.

A handjob from a sock puppet
smoke signals from Dino's house.
warm homemade blueberry pie
rose gardens
hiking through a rain forrest.
The look on a patient's face when I relieved their pain or enhanced their appearance.
affection
writing
reading
playing guitar
peace and quiet.... freedom from pain.... alas, both are seldom occurances
time with close friends
challenges
creating and fixing....

Everything about my daughter
I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.

Not being bored is the main thing. Boredom is like my worst enemy. I flee from it, but it awaits me at every turn, until I'm reduced to staring at the restaurant table and contemplating the art of good varnishing for something...
Aside form keeping that at bay- feeling like I'm in situations where I'm growing and improving in some way, a few good friends, having enough money to subsist on, and getting a little action. In that order, pretty much.
