I've debated with myself for quite a while whether or not I should post this. The decision is obvious, I am going to.

Syncmaster, I have defended you in the other thread (end of desktop computers as we know them). That was before I saw some other threads in which you posted. Now that I have seen more, I will not defend you again in the future. I won't attack you, but I will not step between other people and you again. You should know why. One piece of advise: you won't make many friends, either here or elsewhere, with your current attitude. If that's fine with you, keep on doing it, but if that bothers you, a reality check is appropriate.

To all others, I apologize if I have insulted you by defending him, it is a mistake I have made before (with Omni... remember Messiah?). This apology is mostly directed towards Funk, but also others. I will try hard not to make this mistake yet again. I will only defend follow SG members that I have know (well) for quite some time from now on. I truly hope you didn't take any offense by my post(s).

My bad english do not let me to say everything i need to say as real and well writen reply .
But as you put it that way ,i will try with a more simple way to expresh my self .

I do not think that in BBS members develop any other relesionship, than just communicate , between them .
The choice to support or not ,the what called good or bad , its inside to any human .

All humans inside them are 50% bad and 50% good .

So your puplic annonsman it show that you do not think quait indepentan ,but you have feelings that keeping you prisoner and effect your moral opinion ..

As about your friend Funk , i believe you read a lot posts all ready , he was calling me names ,also say words about my mother ..

If this is the level of the people that you ask for sorry .
Its all yours ..

As about me and the way that i make friends ,i will say that i do not plan on making friends that will think or act by this redicilus ways .

Take any side you like , by my philosofy ,they are only one side that worth to follow ,the side of your hart .

Oh no ,i will not play the angell boy , i have some black spots in my character too .
I am very proud person , anything i have, i got it by hard work , i have lost my father of the age of 16 .
I have devoted my self to the target of be not just a tech , but the best one .
That takes time of my life ,so many time that i do not have a life .

that was a little unnecessary, seed. who cares if funk sent you some posts of sync flaming?all you did was change sides in their little war. by posting this you just run the risk of starting another thread for them to flame each other on again.

for the record, i think syncs a pretty cool guy. his posts are pretty smart, at least what i can understand

. He's definitley a lot more intelligent and even-handed than his english makes him look. he was raggin on my man ssjdoh on core a few months back, but he apologized when doh proved he really did have a 1.2 gig system and came out of it looking ok to me, he was pretty big about it considering how ****y he had been. he's pretty friggin bragadacious about those computers of his, but i don't think its really the same thing as arrogance.

Jayyy, FunK did not do anything except apologizing for his own behavior in a pm!!! I did the rest all by myself. Also I have not really switched sides, if you'd care to read my post again, you'll probably see that. I said "I won't attack you, but I will not step between other people and you again." That's not switching sides, I will only try to stay neutral in further arguments on the board. That's all. I'm not attacking sync in any way. But, as sync says himself, I believe, his personality is not always the easiest to handle. So I can very well see other people getting offended by his posts, even if they were not meant to be an offense in any way.

I agree with you that being "pretty friggin bragadacious about those computers of his", and that it's not the same as arrogance. But as we agreed in the other thread, not all people see it that way, since their not accustomed to a culture so different from their own.

Also, I do not think this thread was unnecessary, see, there is no flame in here yet, and I like to talk about problems rationally instead of letting it slowly develop into a flame war. Maybe we can put our differences aside and all post peacefully again. But that can only happen if we talk about it. That's why I posted this.

Just to make sure: sync, I'm cool with ya, and I hope you're cool with me. Same goes to any other member of this board.

Finally, guys, don't "omnify" every person you don't like. You laugh in one thread how he can't let go of SG, but you don't seem to let go of him either. Brent's very right about this. Omni's not on this board, and even if he is, he doesn't act like he did earlier, SO I DO NOT CARE!

everyone needs to chill. Remember, the contacts you make here can be considered friends if you were to talk often, whatnot, but not EVERYONE will be. those who aren't just remember that there are 2 sides of every argument. Maybe you dont have to see their point but maybe see their reasoning for having a point. Like me and m87. I just dont understand why she even posts. BUT its her perogative. I personally think(in my dealings with m87) its a combination of culture barrier AND internet superiority complex. The feeling that you can do anything and not have any repercussions. You see it all the time. People let the I-net go to their heads. Well, I personally view it as a resource, a tool to be used in the furthering of my knowledge. If I happen to meet some cool peopes along the way then cool. One can NEVER have too many friends. I see where Sync comes from. Maybe it was because I have spent a little time around Greek people but for the most part they ARE exceptionally gifted in one particular field. Everyone there performs a nitche usually (from my understanding) and when they are good @ their nitche above others in the same occupation, they are looked highly upon in society. Well, things don't work like that in the us and lots of greeks have a hard time making friends in the US because of their pride and status in the "old country" Personally I love to meet people in all talents so we usually get along. Personally I am blessed enough and work hard enough to be pretty good at about anything I do(if I set my mind to it) That doesn't mean I do any one thing better than anybody else, I just do pretty good at most the stuff I need to do. Everyone I know does SOMETHING better than I do. No-One I know does EVERYTHING better than me. Everyone has one area where they excel. I just hate to see decent people squashed on (not quite putting sync in that category as I dont know him) just because they are prideful. We are all prideful, just some more than others. I learned a looooooong time ago to squash my pride when it matters. Lets just do like G-N-R say and just LIVE AND LET LIVE! and have some fun along the way shall we?

I guess it is not a problem unless you are the one pissed off. I would like to think that most everyone has skills/artisan that go beyond what you see in terms of the facade. However, if you act like an ass, you are still an ass. To wit, Leonardo Da Vinci was certainly one the most gifted men of all time. He was also a pederast, antisemetic and insufferable to his peers. This by no means belittles his skills, but would you really call him your friend or even hang with him.

Go check out Mofo's. I basically made fun of him in a thread or two, my remarks should still be there unless he changed them again.

And actually...I have known Omni a long time, longer than you think. I have read lots of posts and knew most of you monthes before I started posting here.

I was a lurker for quite awhile, till I saw some intelligent discussion and hardware stuff I wanted to get in on. Now here I am, in all my "Omni'ish" glory.
