Quest@Home Problem with IE 6.0

Post by Dragonfire150 »

Hey, I recently downloaded the Quest@Home patch and used it, I found it to be a use to the internet conncetion, but as of lately after using it, Ive found that I can no longer "Close" the majority of the IE windows.. Occationally it will give me the error beep when I click out and keeps the window open. When i CTL/ALT/DELETE it closes all IE pages and this is the only alternative Ive found to the problem. Im not sure if its Quest@Home or what, and if so I removed it like the instructions tell, but it continues having the problem.

Anyone else have this problem or a suggestion please post!

When you remove it....It does not change your settings back to orig...it leaves them as it set them.

OK, is there any way to reset the defaults/Options changed by Quest@Home, besides going to "Restore Defaults" In the IE Tools section? Ive tried this already and no results.

sguide_default download this patch from here http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php unzipp it and look for the ini file right click install, and reboot. That sguide_default patch has 2k or 98 infront that is ur windows version so click on 2k if you are using xp or windows 2000, or 98 for me/98/95.
