Terminator 3 (SPOILERS!)

Post by Brk »

Ok, not really.

Sad, tired, Schwarzenegger's Terminator is now a an intentionally-cariacatured comic foil, and the inclusion of the "Terminatrix" is definitely one of the most over-hyped promo points of any character in any movie ever; her role was useless, bland, and had none of the genuine terrifying bad-assness of Robert Patrick's T-2000.

Still, "Terminator 3" was laughably bad, not even summer-popcorn-flick good; hopefully "Bad Boys 2" will make up for some of that important summer movie-going experience. Hell, even Connery's "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" is looking top-notch compared to T3.

You could'nt pay me to see another "BadBoys" flick. Connery on the other hand looks cornball, but I'd rather spend 8 bux to see that than "BadBoys 2"

"Bad Boys 2" is a brainless, Michael Bay flash-flick, period...hence, it's a PERFECT summer action movie. Connery's vehicle is at least an original concept...the Terminator series has always tried to at least make you think about the ramifications of man's destructive narcissism, but T3 was inane and only served to force a "T4" down our throats in the future.

You're quite the inclusionary minimalist. The fact that I don't like it renders your statement invalid. Please re-state or refrain from such blanket statements.

i acutally enjoyed T3 better then T1 or T2, T2 sucked IMO compared to T1, and T3 rocked T1

I totally agree with you Burke! I thought T3 just wasnt what I thought it would be :( Although there were some 'quality' kills in it, lol. But overall, it was merely ok at best :(

T3 lacked personal....well, it wasn't as personal as the first two.

You mean T-1000 right?

I totally agree, I couldn't stand the kid's whiny voice in T2, but the movie as a whole was not bad. T3, I thought tied everything together. It had some really great funny scenes. That poor psychiatrist, that scene really cracked me up!! I hope he survives the nukes.

I enjoyed T3.I thought it was fun.Loved the female terminator.
The brave man is not he who feels no fear, For that were stupid and irrational; But he, whose noble soul its fears subdues, And bravely dares the danger nature shrinks from.
