I went on a cruise for my honeymoon, and it was simply awesome!!!! Being that it was a cruise in January.....off-season for cruises, the prices were ridiculously cheap, $380 per passenger. We went to the Bahamas via the Miami port, it was sooo much fun!!! Then, after the cruise, we drove up to Orlando and spent a week at Disney World, simply amazing!!!!! The cruise package we got was from Expedia.com. Biggest piece of advice that I could give you is that whatever you plan for your honeymoon......DO IT WITH TIME!!!!!! The earlier you book, a lot of the times the cheaper it will be and it will give you time to save for it. Good luck man!! :)

I wanted desperately to go to the Pocono Mountains. Never made it. Way too expensive.

I think I'd side with everyone voting for a cruise. Can't go wrong there! :)

I think I would go for the cruise.

My wife and I went to the Poconos on our honeymoon, it was a complete waste of money. I thought I would take her on a romantic horse back ride through the mountains, paid this old hag a small fortune to lead us through the woods in an "s" fashion for a half hour and only ended up 100 feet from where we started on two horse that the only reason she had them is the damn dog food factory would not even take these old decreped animals.

That was over ten years ago, maybe things have changed?

We went to Disney World. I wanted to go to Europe but the wife wanted Disney.

I'm glad we went to Disney though. Man we were treated like freaking British Royalty. While we were wearing our Mickey and Minnie ears, we never had to stand in line, they always pulled us to the front. They would even pull us up front of the Tram and let us sit with the guy driving the thing. There was even some points when we didn't even get off of the ride, we would just ride it over and over again. Just be ready to be the center of attention at times, we were crossing the street before the parade, when everybody standing there waiting started clapping and yelling at us. :D It was a trip to say the least.

At one point we were walking in the store when a lady grabbed us by our hands, she walked us down some long back alley and brought us into a room with Goofy standing there, then she disappeared again and came back with Pluto. When we left there was about 200 people standing in line to have thier pictures taken! We did have to pay for the picture though, but we have pictures with damn near every Disney charector there is though.

One day I'll go to Europe, but I wouldn't trade my honeymoon at Disney for nothing in the world.

On a side note, my wedding turned into a huge ass party. We invited almost 250 people, and most of them showed up. Till this day I still have people telling me that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We had the reception hall from 8pm till midnight, then about 75 of us went to a bar and partied till the sun came up, still in our tux and all.

I slept for a couple of hours and drove to Disney on Sunday (about a 12 hour drive for me). We went to Disney on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and then went to Universal Studios on Friday and Saturday.

Then I drove back home on Sunday.

My honeymoon damn near killed me. :rotfl:

My recommendation is Koh Samui Island in Thailand, $7 a night for a bungalow on the beach under palm trees. $1 fancy cocktails, $3 massages, 80 degree water, scuba diving, you name it.
