But doctors now say she has no recollection of the whole episode and probably never will.

hmm...must have ended up in the hands of military psychiatrists, who btw, have as their only skill, the ability to erase memory and implant other memories. Evil doers...

I believe it.

*waits for the cries of 'Un-American' to stop..*

Why wouldn't they, though? I mean, you have to drum up support for this illegal 'war' somehow, right?
So trade that typical for something colorful, and if it's crazy live a little crazy!

When her entire unit was wiped out, they work on worst case cenarios as to her condition. When she was rescued, they said "POSSIBLE" suffering from those wounds. No one but Iraqi doctors had seen her. When the red cross asked to see the POW's, they were denied. What other option was there but to work off of worse case cenarios?

We were talking about a regime who tortured their own citizens, should we have assumed any POW's were in a country club playing Tennis?

my uncle has lived with PTSD since Vietnam where he stepped on a mine while telling several men under his command to get back into camp.

No need here, I have had my share!

I have found that a 14' Aluminum boat w/motor, fishing gear, two dozen red worms or nite crawlers, cooler full of Vienna sausages, cold beer and some camping gear (+babe) will solve more than the VA could ever come close too! ;)

Home remedies are usually the cure for what ales ya!

IMHO,

BMED

btw, the story is part of "sweeps week" with the press...basically it's BS!

Give me under a week and I'll be doing the same thing only this time on my own lake and throwing my meds overboard and watching the fish get stoned. I call it an easy fishing day. :D

Ok it's not all my lake, it's a big sucker but I now own lake front property. *queues Jimmy Buffet* :D

Come on up but bring your toque and parka cause it's still chilly out where I live. lol
