Bt Infinity

Hi ive just got BT Infinity and on the eathernet cable I can get a whopping 74mbps download with a 20mbps upload but the fastest I can get on wireless is about 24mbps, is that to be expected due to a wireless restriction or can this be tweaked???

i run ad-aware and spubot regulary but i do suspect the cabling, it looks a bit rough, it comes in through the wall (only 2 wires are conected the others are cut off) then crosses the room behind the tv to the first plug then back past tv on to the second plug near the pc, do you think it would help ...

I have got it up to 2410mhz and it is stable but my memory wont take any overclocking it starts hanging.
