IE Delay

There is a limit of 10 connections per second in SP2. There is a patch that should increase it to whatever you want. I have a slipstreamed SP2 CD that I installed on my spare machine to see how it would work before putting it on the main computers. The patch took care of the slow page loading for me ...

Simple Question

I borrowed a router from a friend of mine to see if the MTU Discovery would work with it. Worked every time with no problem at all. When I hooked mine back up, it went back to MTU Discovery=OFF. Does this mean that I need to pull out the warranty papers? Thanks.

Simple Question?

I applied your settings for CableNut and seem to have picked up some speed. I was doing pretty good as it was, but now I'm getting 97% of my rated speed. MTU Discovery is still off though. Here are my new Analyzer results and I thank you very much.

Simple Question?

I have my MTU Discovery set to be on, but every time I run a test it shows up as off. Checked the registry and cablenut and it is enabled in both. Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

ISP Crap

Hey Onnyxs!!!!!!!!!!!1

I agree with you 100%. I'm currently with BellSouth and at the end of the Loop. I don't even get close to 90%. On the very best days I can get maybe 60% of the promised bandwidth. I have complained many times about this situation, but to no avail. I understand what Steele is ...

I don't know what OS you are using , but the instructions listed below work for Win 98SE very well. I've been using it for over two years on one of my machines. Give it a try and let us know how it comes out.

To empty Temp Folder safely, late in the boot process, do this:

What resources? This utility has little or no effect on resources and it gets the job done without going through a lot of changes. I've used it for over two years on new and old computers with no consequences whatsoever.

Do a search on the Web for Desksweeper. It's a small utility that will hide/unhide the icons on your desktop with a single mouse click. That way you'll get to see all of that beautiful wallpaper you have there. And best of all it's free. Good Luck!
