step ahead of you on the network cards, it didnt make a difference.

the computer that gets the download speed we pay for, has identical software setup but on a much more obsolete computer
and i just put the newest versions of each on both computers and the results are still the same

that helped with the images loading and constant refreshing, everything runs fine, but my roommate still gets 800kb/s download and i now get 540kb/s
i've swapped router jacks and cables, but it makes no difference

this isnt worth a damn...
have to hit refresh about 20 times to load a page , if it even loads, none of the images appear, they are all exed out
and i ran several speed tests and it is not a bit faster
HELP SOON

i can barely get on line....

including the speedguide web patch, cablenut and others
i want to reset all concerned settings on my computer
it has done nothing but go downhill on speed

for some reason this printer is unable to share in this way(according to Lexmark), it is a usb printer, so how could i maybe print the .prn files if i print to file on the other computer and bring it over to the computer with the printer?

but what does it change, is what i need to know, cause i have no idea. i have tried the optimizer, and i will try cablenut. i tried ispeed but i didnt know enough about what i was doing to use that program. i know a lot about computers, but not about the networking aspect of it.
