hello ..i use IE-6 i was alot faster runs smoother more stable then running netscape

i use the wireless in my shop its about 250 to 300 ft away from were it is in the house i do use it in back yard as well i have not noticed any lower speeds being that far away from router

have you updated the firmware .in the router setup there is a adv. option should be a red tab at the end in router setup i still think it has to do with settings not right

then your router setup is not configerd right
go though the setup step by step in the setup there is a spot DHCP put (2) there were you can tell router how many computer there are on your network if you have 2 the check 2 -(remember)- all changes in setup you must reboot puter

when you bypass the router and go just to pc from cale modem dose it work

that case mod looks cool keep up the good case mod work

wanted to know who all has case mods

bought 512 micron pc133 form them it took a 3 1/2 weeks to get here and them it was the wrong one didnt even work sent back it took them 3 week to give money back

i always keep firmware up to date thay fix problems and keep your router working properly it your choice to upgrade

i think the 3Com 3cr990tx97 is a very good card has good support and drivers people have always trusted 3Com and i still do thats all i use .Personally i dont like nor tust intell cards i have herd bad things about them

if you want to be able to view files progs and whatever else with out wire to run then the linksys BEFW11S4 would be your ticket i have this one too and its a dream to use dont forget you will need the wireless nic cards enless you find a complete kit if not you can get very cheap but good stuff on ...

i use a linksys router linksys is very easy to set up for someone that hasnt used a router before step by step setup very straight forword also linksys has been makeing them for a good long time its a name you can trust

make sure you keep up on all firmware updates on all routers and makes ...

try this a friend had same problem we had to rename is computer name ..when it was TCI Broadband it was (123456-a) we had to name the other computer (123456-b) you can try that also make sure you put your Domain name right if you have the new Mediacom broadband the Host name must be emty i hope is ...
