Okay all,

This may sound typical, but looking to upgrade this poor system.

I bought the system 2 years ago, a Packard Bell Package, okay scream, yell, and :rotfl: .

The problem with the case on the system was the power supply!

Seems when PB make this model, they made the power supply to draw air ...

By setting it to the numbers you gave me, what does it perform, currently my pages are lighting fast.

as for the Unscaling Recieved Windows 40180, is having this number lower a bad thing??

I even uninstalled my net card, modem software, cablenut and restored the reg.

Then installed it all, and followed the directions.

Hmmm more tweaking later.

This time I added the "Large" in the size area on Cablenut and got this:

Okay heres the scoop, when I boot up the system, on the summary screen it reads "Cache Memory: 512k"

But when using a dos program to do a systems check, It reads that the L2 Cache is only 64k

So whats up with that??? Is it 512k or 64k?

My manufacture says it supplies the board with a 512k Cache ...

Im not sure what my upload is, but I am using a monitor from the ZDNet to test the true connection.

Looking at my Rec. and Sent. They are:

Kbytes Received: 1,650.30
Kbytes Sent: 162.64
