Ok here I am again, been waiting for my connection to be normal again. My problem now is that my streaming and download speeds are very slow compared to the non-tweaked system. What setting should I change?

So far the results have been amazing and I've been having amazing download speeds, but as what the customer support of our ISP said that there's a problem, then I think these results wouldn't last long. I'll just post my download ...

I don't know where to find those options you said but here are few diagnostics on my modem:

Still having the same problems, and my youtube streaming now sux. I don't know if my isp is the problem or not which I think it is. :rotfl:

I've set my RWIN to 127776 from 51k and it seemed slower(maybe), can't tell much difference.

The ISP told me that they are having some problems, he said that it's a burst that's why i'm getting 6k+ speeds.



PS: I installed RASPPoE, do I need to change my cable nut and TCP values again since my MTU is now 1492. Or I will just retain the values given by rollingstone and just change the MTU ...

Now I'm confused, I went to see my modem's settings and it was set to bridge mode. I was thinking my connection is a PPoE since I need to log on in windows to access the internet. Sorry kinda confused right now.

Sir rollingstone, as what I've seen from your instructions on cable nut settings, I was just wondering if those other settings have more zeros on their value, I compared it with mccoffee's post and some values you entered are almost the same with his except for more zeros. Just wondering. :D

I've log on to my modem and sorry to tell you but I can't find the MTU settings. Where is it usually under? I'm using a modem.


PS:The encapsulation method used is RFC 1483, Multiplex LLC, and the mode is bridge.

I've tried the TCP OPTIMIZER first and here's my speedtest and analyzer test and it seems to me that my web browsing slowed after I did the TCP OPTIMIZER. I really don't know what's up now so need help badly. Btw thanks so much for the reply.
