Hello somebody out there? pls help me with my lan card. it is an nvidia lan card which i think automatically restricts incoming ports. coz when i'm downloading files, it stucks up and eventually doesn't download anymore. what could be the problem? :confused: if there is such thing as a built-in ...

None sir.. there are no other gadgets except my modem. it is placed on top of a bed.

I would like to know if their is such thing as a built-in firewall on modems? If their is such would you pls kindly inform me how to turn those ****in firewalls off coz they block some ports where i do some downloads coz i tried all possible ways on closing all windows xp's ...

hey i think we have the same problem. mine's not yet solved too. is your lan card nvidia? and when you download something it's something that restricts some p2p seed? if it's like that then we have the same problem.

Sir my modem's cable is too short. my estimate is it's about only 1.2meter and it doesn't have excess wire to be coiled. and the modem has two antenna on both sides i think the one is a receiver and i don't know about the other one. what could be the problem of super low connection?..
