Is there any stuff such as built-in firewall?

Hello somebody out there? pls help me with my lan card. it is an nvidia lan card which i think automatically restricts incoming ports. coz when i'm downloading files, it stucks up and eventually doesn't download anymore. what could be the problem? :confused: if there is such thing as a built-in firewall how could i suppose to turn it off. coz i tried all possible way to off all windows firewalls and my kaspersky anti virus is off. pls help.. :cry: thnx..

Have not heard of firewall in a LAN card. If there is one, it would not "eventually" blocks. A firewall would either blocks from the start or does not block.

Your problem could be malware in your comp or an undersized RWIN for a high speed line.
