if there is such thing as a built-in firewall how could i suppose to turn it off. coz i tried all possible way to off all windows firewalls and my kaspersky anti virus is off. pls help..

Hello somebody out there? pls help me with my lan card. it is an nvidia lan card which i think automatically restricts incoming ports. coz when i'm downloading files, it stucks up and eventually doesn't download anymore. what could be the problem? if there is such thing as a built-in firewall how could i suppose to turn it off. coz i tried all possible way to off all windows firewalls and my kaspersky anti virus is off. pls help.. thnx..

Have not heard of firewall in a LAN card. If there is one, it would not "eventually" blocks. A firewall would either blocks from the start or does not block.
Your problem could be malware in your comp or an undersized RWIN for a high speed line.
