Well the laptop has a certificate of authenticity, with a product key on the bottom, but the key doesn't match what the belarc advisor states, but the belarc report says:
e. This is the manufacturer's factory installed product key rather than yours. You can change it to your product key here http ...

Got a new router
I'm runnin XP, with a Netgear router, and Norton Internet Security, I turned of the Security then did the test. What do ya think, I'm on Suddenlink's 1mb download speed, 256/kb. I'm barely getting half that, should I take away the router, and test it again?

Okay I'm tired of lag, and disconnections
What the heck can I do about this? I'm running a wireless connection with my PS3, I've got a 100% connection all the time, UPnP is available, so I know all the ports are being opened on my router. I've done a speedtest for my computer and it reads that I can download from their (my ISP) servers at ...

trogers wrote:About 30 hops, and did the tracert finally ends with trace complete?
I have seen some tracerts that never did complete because the signal got caught in a loop, due to problems in some intermediate routers.
I did it again, and it said a maxium over 30 hops, stopped on 14 and said trace complete.

Well I opened the command prompt and typed tracert http://www.yahoo.com and it said something about 30 hops total. Is that wrong? And I do have the Norton Firewall.

Creating a better connection for online gaming
I've done some searching on here and decided to just register, I constantly get booted from games online, I've got a ps3 and I'm running a wireless connection, I've got a belkin wireless router, is there any way to create a better, stronger connection, to prevent the lag, and speed it up a little ...
