How does DSL work as far as setting up your browser? I have cable, my father just got DSL. His is not working. He says that the phone company can see his modem but they said they cant see any signal when he trys to surf around. Sounds like he got the network card installed correctly.

Dont be too surprised if installing dialup adapter does NOT fix your problem. But its worth a shot. It fixed my system but mine is behaving strangely.

Hi, I searched this topic and found lots of replies, but with no difinitive answers.

Yes, Ive uploaded to newsfeeds news servers, Giganews servers (fast and reliable servers) and @Home news servers (should be fastest of all Ive tried) and I keep timing out. And like I said.
