Well century tel tells me that I'm out of luck, that you cant do that to these modems.. I found on the westell site that my model is set up to run up to 8mbps but is capable to run 28 so it seems to me that it might need to be set up different.

I cant seem to find a way to update the modem... Its a westell 6100 but I got it through Centurytel(my isp) so its not supported by westell... I'll try to give them(centurytel) a call tomorrow and see what they say.

OK so when I go to my modems ip address it shows me at 8446kbits/sec(upload) and 555kbits/sec (download)...

What does that tell me? :)

Hi, I'm back. Ok did the uninstall and ccleaner but just left the driver out since that printer is down anyways. But still same thing ; It seems to be changing my TTL also. I also put the tcpoptimizer back to default rebooted and started over?

I'm not sure what its doing because on my optimizer it shows the number (255552) but when I run the analyzer it shows (255840)??

I just did it again from scratch and the same thing happened..

I had 1.5mbps now I should be at 10mbps. On the ISP's speed test its showing my max around 7mbps

No, I don't have cordless! My house is old though so if I run a new line maybe other then that I don't have any other power source by my modem! When u said it the first time I had my modem under my desk below the monitor and by my power strip!

My modem is like 6 years old also?

the reason I ask is because I use surge protector with a splitter! So my phone line is right by all my cords. I just did again with all off accept computer, monitor and modem and this is result!
Cable modem/DSL/T1 link found.
Link set to Full Duplex mode

We usually x out the last 6 digits of the first and second hops to prevent hackers knowing our IP address.

Ya I ran a designated cat 5 line direct to the dmark box so I cant do better there. How do ppl in css get such low latency? I figured when I upgraded my dsl to 1.5 it would help but it doesn't!
