Looking for a program, maybe you can help.

I need a program that can remove repeat lines in texts. Only need each line once and when there's what seems like millions (but not) lines it's not easy. I have used a few programs in the pass that would remove any lines that repeated but can't recall the names.

Help with vid codec

I'm trying to play a MPEG file using Rundll32 (win default player) and I get this error "No combination of filters could be found to render the stream"
Anyone know how to fix this?

It's funny you would say that about the IDE ribbon cable I just changed that one not 3weeks ago. It's a western digital hard drive, I have win98 and have ran windows alot of times with no problems before. I don't know about the ribbon cable because the 45 is a slave

dos froze up and safe mode froze up also but didn't take out the mouse like it did all other times.

Harddrive question

Having a problem with my harddrive. Have a 45gig and my mother board doesn't support ultra 66, but have fond a few ways around it for over a year now. It's one 45gig drive not nine 5gig drives.

Seems to freeze up at like 32,000 clusters when scanning with scan disk. Was having a lot of problems ...

My c@ppy little cpu is pulling a lot and there's times I have 0% of my 96mbs of ram left after boot up. And I'm lucky to have 70% of resources. And that's with just systray and firewall. Have everything a little tweaked out.

And just because you deleted the file doesn't mean that it's gone or that your ports are now closed. Shouldn't have jumpped so soon to delete the file, knowing the names of the infected files is the best way to find the keys that are added to the registry. May want to get a another scanner like ...

didn't say what OS you were using but if it's win98 goto start then goto run then type in msconfig and then tab over to startup. and see if there's something called default with a check to the left of it.

ThX dude it worked. Changed PCIs and after that wouldn't let me reconfig the damn thing for some reason, and wouldn't work?? But after a good format it seems to be working well, one slot down. No problems yet hope it stays that way.
